Does QUIT see what I browse?
No. The blocker runs on your phone. It checks each site’s name on the device and blocks adult ones there. We never receive your browsing history, and nobody is ever told which sites were blocked. If you add an accountability partner, they can see a number (how many sites were blocked), never the sites themselves.
How does QUIT block porn on Android?
QUIT uses Android’s VPN feature to filter website lookups on your phone, so adult sites are blocked in every browser and app, including private tabs. It also locks Google, Bing and YouTube to SafeSearch. Your traffic isn’t sent through our servers.
Can I turn it off?
Yes, it’s your phone. With Strict Mode on (the default), turning the shield off takes a request that unlocks after 24 hours, or sooner if your accountability partner approves. Urges pass long before that. You can also lock the shield in with Android’s Always-on VPN setting, which makes it much harder to switch off on impulse.
What happens if I relapse?
Tap “I slipped”. Your streak starts again from Day 0, but your island keeps every landmark you’ve earned, because landmarks count all your clean days, not just the current streak. No shame, no starting from nothing.
Is it for NoFap or just porn?
Both. When you start, you choose: quit porn only, or NoFap (no porn and no masturbation). The coach and lessons follow your choice.
Do I need an accountability partner?
No. It’s optional. If you want one, you invite someone you trust with a code. You choose what they see, and you can stop sharing at any time (they’re told if you do).
Is the fox coach a real therapist?
No. It’s an AI coach, there at 1am when an urge hits. It knows your streak and how your week has gone, and it helps you ride the urge out. It isn’t a therapist, and in a crisis it will point you to real help.
Is QUIT on iPhone?
Android comes first. The iPhone version is in the works and will use Apple’s Screen Time system. Join the list and pick iPhone, and we’ll email you when it’s ready.
